Job Title:     New Business Sales


TMB are renowned for delivering highly effective IT and Telephony solutions and projects to the hotel industry. Due to continued success, we currently have an opportunity for a New Business Sales Person to join our busy Sales & Marketing Team.  This role will suit a salesperson that is experienced within the hospitality sector, is a proven self-starter and comfortable meeting targets and working on their own initiative.


The primary responsibility is to continue to grow the TMB family of customers by bringing in new customers and business from the UK Hospitality market. This will be for IT, Telephony, Project Management & Consultancy as well as other TMB products and services.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Identify potential hospitality customers
  • Initial contact of prospective customers, whether through existing contacts or new approach
  • Identifying customer requirements
  • Working with the Pre-Sales consultants to develop quotes and scopes
  • Presentation and negotiation of proposals
  • Closing agreements within agreed commercial parameters
  • Completion of all required documentation to help deliver a great service or solution to the customer

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours:

  • New business professional
  • Proven new business expertise with achievement of targets
  • Knowledge of some / all the following solutions within a hospitality setting
  • IT: servers, general h/w & s/w
  • Cloud services
  • Telephony solutions: both on-premise and hosted
  • Support & Maintenance offerings
  • New build projects / hotel openings
  • Experience within hospitality
  • A team player but with the ability to work unsupervised and generate new leads and business
  • IT literate and comfortable with Microsoft products
  • Able to travel at short notice
